Just bad..Got a large to go order for the first time tonight. The wings were dry and lacked flavor inside the meat. "hot" is not hot and there was no sauce on the outside of the wings...veryyyyyy dry and hard to chew . Also bought burgers with CHEESE ONLY for the kids and was filled with mustard and pickles, gizzards not recommended as well. Lesson learned we wont be back

This is the new Wing Place/Sports Bar located in the old Yamato Hibachi Restaurant..not sure if it's the greatest idea to open another Wing Joint less than a mile from Buffalo's Reef..Zaxby's..and Buffalo Wild Wings, but that's for another discussion..before I even walk in the door I've already deducted a star when I see they serve Pepsi Products(This is The South People!!)...as I walk in I can still sense the ghosts of The Hibachi Chefs prowling the place, and it does not look much different than when Yamato's was here...the front right is the restaurant/family area and if you go straight to the back and make a left it is a bar/dining area..went into the bar area and looked at their menu and saw it was all the Wing Place Standards..Wings..Burgers..Sandwiches..etc.. I ordered 20 hot wings and 10 medium to go...while waiting I ordered a beer from their beer menu ,which was the standard Sports Bar Beers(BAD)..The best they had was a Sweetwater 420 ,so that's what I got..Bartender was pleasant to talk too while drinking my beer and the food came out in a decent amount of time so off I went...got home and bit into one of the wings and UH-OH immediately came into my mind..I was given Wings that any long time wing eater such as myself can instantly recognize as having been either reheated or redropped in the grease...it's so obvious when parts of the wing are hot and other parts of the wing are cold and all of the meat takes on an extremely tough and chewy consistency for chicken meat...I was hoping it was just the one wing ,but after trying 4 or 5 more I realized the whole batch was tainted...disgustedly I got up and threw the whole batch in the trash can before I got food poisoning..honestly these were the worst wings I've ever been served and I've eaten wings in some fairly desultory venues so that's saying something..on a brighter note the Blue Cheese and Celery were good so you know those were probably Sysco or Kraft items...I guess I should have known better, because in the times before I went and the times after I went I have noticed that no matter what time of day it is their Parking Lot is always emptier than an Okaloosa County Democratic Party Rally...clearly the word got out about this place quick and my experience was not an outlier..I hate to give a one star rating to any place, because I know how hard the restaurant business is, but re-dropping wings is the Cardinal Sin of a Wing Joint..if they keep this up The Wings of Fire will be nothing but Ashes at this time next year...Caveat Emptor and make sure your Dentist is available the next day if you decide to come here for wings

Went there tonight for their .60 cent boneless wings. Save your money and go to McDonalds and get chicken nuggets. That's what you'll get here. Very disappointed, wished I'd ask for my money back. Should be advertised as boneless chicken nuggets. I got hot and medium, there was a warning on the menu the hot was very hot, and there would be no refunds, don't believe it.

The only good thing I can say is the onion rings were good. Other than that, part of our order came out wrong and the waitress said if she sent it back they would charge her for the mistake and she would have to pay for the meal. Then there are no refills and the advertised special wasn't even that great of a spacial. We had the .60 boneless wings and my husband said the same thing Tim said, they were more like chicken nuggets with hot sauce. Better off going to Buffalo Reef down the road.

I thought I'd start off my first review on a positive start and Wings of Fire fits the bill nicely! I'm always on the lookout for some good wings- my priorities when moving to a new town are: 1) Find a good mechanic, 2) Find a place to get a haircut, and 3) Find a great wing place. I've tried just about everyplace in FWB that serves wings & have changed allegiances over the years, but WoF may find itself at the top of the list of my favorite wing places in town. So, to the review: I got the 10 piece garlic parmesan bone-in wings w/blue cheese, Thing #1 got the honey bbq boneless wings, Thing #2 got club sandwich, and wife got the cuban sandwich. The wings were tasty and not breaded, although a little lacking on meat. Regardless, the blue cheese was not something from a jar/50-gallon drum (they advertise it as their "famous homemade blue cheese"), so that was a plus. Both Things reported that their meals were good, and the portion size of the club sandwich was enough to fill the bottomless pit of a teenage boy's stomach- also a major plus! Wife liked the cuban and they did not scrimp on the smoked pork, ham & swiss. In a nutshell, portions were great, visually pleasing and had the taste to back it up. They bill themselves as a "Family Bar & Grill" and the menu reflects the good variety of the place without getting too crazy by attempting too much. The food was hot and bagged up when ready and the server offered to go through each container to review my order for accuracy-something more places in town should offer. In addition to a good variety of wing flavors (lemon pepper, teriyaki, chipotle, honey bbq, spicy bbq, and the various degrees of hot running from mild all the way to "fire hot xtreme"), they also offer wraps, hamburgers, sandwiches, and a good appetizer menu choice. WoF's dinner menu also boasts a decent selection of dinners w/sides. WoF had only been open a few days when I went in to place a to-go order and I was very impressed with the layout and staff. Plenty of room with a couple different sectioned off areas to sit in, depending on if you want to watch t.v. (lotsa t.v.'s around the place) or have a family dinner. I waited in the separate bar area while my food was prepared and liked the room and beer selection. The staff was incredibly friendly and took time to chat- they are going out of their way to make a good first impression and have succeeded greatly. I had a nice conversation with several servers and the bartender I was offered several times to walk around and check the place out. I hope WoF makes it in FWB- unfortunately this town goes through new restaurants pretty quickly and it can be tough for a new place to catch on and thrive. If they can keep up this level of customer service and not bump up the prices too much further, they should become a FWB staple.

Not sure why these guys got nailed with a few bad ratings and don't let that put you off. The wings are great and the sauce I understand is a family recipe much like many other recipes here and the blue chees dressing is fantastic, also a family recipe (Not store bought as someone tried to say) Also the layout is great, there are three separate areas from the family room the main room and bar area so you can always find a spot that suits you even if its Karaoke night or there are a bunch of kids. We've been here half a dozen times and its always been good.

Last Wednesday was my third trip to Wings of Fire in FWB. I want to start by saying that I think Scott H from Tampa is an competitor's plant. Mentioning Sysco as the source is the dressing is a give away. Besides anyone who can't tell that the WOF Bleu Cheese Dressing is homemade can't have much taste to start with. The wings I was served during each of my three visits were the best in town. They wings were not prepared ahead of time, they were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was killer. The HOMEMADE Bleu Cheese is out of this world. One of the other places in town does in fact cook wings ahead of time, and the other serves wings that are midget sized and are often overcooked. The service has always been good. This trip, my server was Ali and she provided great service. I do see the often empty parking lot, and I wish more locals would give this place a try because I want it to stay around. I have no interest in this restaurant other than a love of good food and good service.

lunch was good, more than wings. The philly cheese was awesome. The homemade honey mustard complimented the homemade onion rings. 3 dining areas which includes the sports bar, family dining and the full service bar. Will be back to try a rueben. Forget the mac and cheese as a side, it was bland tasted like Krafts. Service was great.
